I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. the historic building itself is absolutely beautiful with its wonderful period detail. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is impressive, from the well-appointed guest rooms to the comfortable and shaded yard. Secondly, the service provided by the staff, especially Julie the innkeeper, was top-notch. Her friendly and charming demeanor made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel was truly delicious and creative. The grilled plums with ginger yoghurt and the asparagus quiche were definite highlights.
